Philadelphia is like a gigantic work of art. The city is very beautiful with its rich history.
Philadelphia is a city with a long history. The first thing we do in there is to try the cheese steak burger, which they told us is the special local food. Then we met our tour guides. They dressed like people in the 19th century, acted like 19th century, which is really interesting.
They led us to see the sister bell of the liberty bell, then took us to learn how people make chocolate in the ancient time. For making chocolate, people in ancient collected cocoa beans, dried them in the sun, then crushed cocoa beans and mix them together with sugar and serval spices after getting rid of their shells. The sugar they used is in a weird shape just like a tower. And we also shock to find that they added cinnamon into chocolate.
After knowing the process of making chocolate, we went to the oldest post office. In there, we can send letters back to our home with a special stamp which only can be found in this post office. That will be a nice souvenir for the Philadelphia tour. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any letter to send.
Then we moved forward to the convention center square, where the liberty bell located. In there the tour guides told us of the history of the liberty bell. According to them, the liberty bell is actually a normal bell which doesn’t have a good quality and been fixed to serval time.
If you are interested in the history of US. I would really recommend you to go and check this city with the highest amount of monuments in the world. Philadelphia is a nice city for traveling.
