Huaigu LIU - Digital Nomad

This is Huaigu LIU from China. I go by Val. I am a filmmaker, photographer, and digital marketer.

I always believe in the possibility of pursuing different careers in life. I have a strong enthusiasm for filmmaking, photography, and marketing.

I have directed a micro-film which wins the second prize in a microfilm competition. I also shoot and edit advertisements. In 2017, I worked in Simple Zero which is the best short video advertising company in Wenzhou. I edited several advertisements . In the summer of 2019, I got the chance to work as an intern in Shanghai Media Group with one of the best documentary directors in China.

I like photography, especially film photography. I like the way a picture tells the story as well as express feelings. Film photography is a very classic media to express thoughts. I like to travel to those countries that typically people are scared of. The pureness of that place, free from all the tourists, always keeps me spellbound.

I choose marketing as my major and I did not change it. There is so much to explore in this realm. I really hope I can make some impacts in this realm in the future.
